The C-LaSAIR has a Project Steering Committee lead by University of Eldoret (UoE) that implements activities related to the five specific objectives (SOs) through the following work packages (WP) – with gender mainstreaming across the WPs assured for increased women involvement:

  1. WP1: Project Management;
  2. WP2: Establishment of Community-Based Climate-Smart Agrosilvopastoral and Aquaculture Technologies Living Labs;
  3. WP3: Co-design of innovative climate-smart water harvesting, irrigation and automated fish- & poultry-feeder technologies and practices in agrosilvopastoral and aquaculture systems;
  4. WP 4: Farmer-Managed new agroforestry tree species for soil nitrogen-fixation, livestock fodder and bee forage;
  5. WP5: Capacity Building, Communication and Dissemination; and
  6. WP 6: Agribusiness and value-addition of fruits, sorghum, groundnut & fish products.
